Viola Pythas

Founder & Managing Director

BA, GradDipBus(Acc), FGIA

Viola is the Founder and Managing Director of CorpSec Services. 

By profession, she is a Company Secretary and corporate governance professional with over 25 years’ experience.  During her career she has acted as the Company Secretary for 100's of private and unlisted public companies and has extensive experience in company compliance and facilitating effective board, committee and member meetings.

Her specialty is ASIC related work including, setting up new companies, restructures, resolving complex compliance issues, rectification of share capital related work and ongoing company compliance for both Australian and foreign owned companies. 

​

 Viola is a problem solver with a strong focus on helping clients and building trustworthy relationships.  Her breadth of experience provides her with the ability to work through technically challenging matters from a wide range of industries.  She can support companies with governance matters and compliance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).

She has wide-ranging secretarial experience having worked for a leading Australian bank, a government owned company, and has provided corporate secretarial services to an array of clients whilst working for 2 of the big 4 professional services firms. 

 

More recently she has developed online training courses in providing ASIC Registered Agent services and best practice company compliance.  Since the launch of The Responsible ASIC Registered Agent Webinar in 2020, over 1,500 ASIC agents, responsible persons and company compliance officers have attended the live webinars.  This course is also offered as a self-paced eLearning course, which has had over 1,000 registrations and positive reviews. 

 

​Viola is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (GIA) and actively participates in discussion groups regarding current issues and reforms.  She is a member of the GIA's Corporate and Legal Issues Committee (CLIC), which meets monthly. She is also a member of ASIC Registry Business Advisory Group (RBAG), a discussion panel for the Government's RegistryConnect program and a former member of the ATO's Modernising Business Registers Business Advisory Group (BAG). ​

 

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and Graduate Diploma in Business (Accounting).

Aishwarya Singh

Corporate Compliance Manager

BA, MA(Finance & Marketing), GradDip(Retail Management) 

Aishwarya (Aish) has 6 years’ experience providing corporate secretarial and ASIC-related compliance services. 

 

Prior to joining CorpSec Services, Aish made a significant contribution in providing tailored secretarial services at KPMG to a wide range of KPMG Enterprise clients.  Her day-to-day responsibilities involved managing a large portfolio of clients, which includes Australian subsidiaries of large global brands, family businesses, high-net-worth individuals, foreign branches and charities. 

 

Aish has extensive experience in registering companies, managing the annual review process and facilitating an array of routine and more complex company changes and restructures.  She is our CAS360 expert effortlessly overseeing a number of CAS subscriptions, keeping our clients compliant and managing large volumes of ASIC lodgements.

Emma Volpe

Corporate Compliance Manager

Emma has over 20 years’ experience providing corporate secretarial and ASIC-related compliance services. 

 

Prior to joining CorpSec Services, she worked for William Buck, BR Wellington and KPMG making a significant contribution in providing tailored secretarial services to a wide range of clients.  Her day-to-day responsibilities involve managing a large portfolio of clients, which includes Australian subsidiaries of large global brands, family businesses, high-net-worth individuals, foreign branches and charities.  Emma has extensive experience in registering companies, managing the annual review process for a large number of companies and facilitating an array of routine and more complex company changes and restructures.  Her knowledge of ASIC related matters, trusts and managing companies is exceptional.    

 

With such a wealth of experience in providing corporate secretarial services, Emma is a valued member of our training team, co-presenting our webinars and eLearning course tailored to providing training to the accounting industry.
